GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
My network was down. When trying to build stage 3 package
dev-perl/ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r4, an error was issued that
ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r4 can't be downloaded.
Starting the network and typing "emerge system" started
expat-1.95.6-r1 download. ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r4 and
dev-perl/Safe were skept!
I tryed several interruptions stoping the network and typing
ctrl-c. emerge system always resumed correctly except for
the 1st case. Is there anything special with ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r4?
TIA for any comments.
BTW, I emerged manually the previous skept packages before proceeding
with emerge system. Will I end with a good stage3?
