Subject: Multiple concurrent GCC's
Date: Thu, 27 May 2004 21:58:28 -0400
Hi folks,

How flexible is the multiple-version gcc feature in gentoo? I see that
portage will support concurrent installs of 2.95, 3.0, and 3.[23].x.
This is great, but I was hoping for more flexibility in the "x" range.

For example, I would like to have 3.3.1, 3.3.2, and 3.3.3 installed at
the same time, configurable by gcc-config. This doesn't appear easily
doable with the current portage.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,
- Chris
