5 Sure it will. It will run in console mode, as it should.

7 I think the X USE variable is fine. The idea of an ebuild depending on
8 the environment in which it is built is the entire point of the exercise
9 of using Gentoo Linux. USE flags are complex and easy to misunderstand,
10 but I don't think PEBKAC is the thing that should dictate the
11 architecture of portage.
