7 I don't think there are boot floppy for gentoo yet (please correct me if i'm wrong),
8 but you can use a floppy disk from another distribution, provided the kernel on it is
9 recent enough (2.4.x) to support the 'bind' option for mount, and there is classical
10 unix tools (tar, mount, bzip2, ...). Or if you have another Linux distibution installed
11 you can also simply bootstrap your Gentoo Linux from there !

13 One you have booted, you partition the disk as indicated in the installation guide,
14 mount the cdrom and your future gentoo partition, uncompress the build-xxx.tar.bz2
15 image, and then do the chroot and then go ahead following the docs ...
