I don't think there are boot floppy for gentoo yet (please correct me if i'm wrong), |

but you can use a floppy disk from another distribution, provided the kernel on it is |

recent enough (2.4.x) to support the 'bind' option for mount, and there is classical |

unix tools (tar, mount, bzip2, ...). Or if you have another Linux distibution installed |

you can also simply bootstrap your Gentoo Linux from there ! |

One you have booted, you partition the disk as indicated in the installation guide, |

mount the cdrom and your future gentoo partition, uncompress the build-xxx.tar.bz2 |

image, and then do the chroot and then go ahead following the docs ... |
