5 Note that this is also a usability issue. I recently helped a friend set
6 up Gentoo + KDE (first Linux experience), and the default PATH did not
7 include the /usr/kde/x.x/bin dir, so he couldn't open KDE progs from the
8 command line.

10 This may be an easy bug or configuration error in /etc/env.d, but the
11 issue remains that it is easier for all the programs to be located in
12 /usr/bin.
