Okay, USE flags are one idea; I can see how that would make maintenance |

a little easier than having two separate baselayout ebuilds; just have a |

posix USE flag rather than calling it baselayout-posix or whatever. |

Next question, then, since I am extremely, exquisitely glad to know that |

allowed, how long will that last. That is, will we all be forced to |

migrate to the new way of configuring things at some point in the |

future, or is that so far off yet that we needn't worry? I'm wondering |
