13 Okay, USE flags are one idea; I can see how that would make maintenance
14 a little easier than having two separate baselayout ebuilds; just have a
15 posix USE flag rather than calling it baselayout-posix or whatever.

17 Next question, then, since I am extremely, exquisitely glad to know that
18 the existing, familiar, comfortable, (etc.) way of doing it will be
19 allowed, how long will that last. That is, will we all be forced to
20 migrate to the new way of configuring things at some point in the
21 future, or is that so far off yet that we needn't worry? I'm wondering
22 if you see us all switching at some point, say, 6 - 9 months down the
23 road. How long are you willing to support the status quo?
