16 The problem in the last weeks was, that 2.4.0-final kernels where
17 definately not stable and I way allways busy
18 making new kernel-packages.
19 The lates 2.4.0ac8 seems to be stable, so I will copy that to
20 linux-sources.
21 I presonally prefere the following method if I need a special kernel.
22 First I run "ebuild kernel unpack", then I cd into
23 /tmp/portage/linux....../work/linux and configure the kernel or I copy
24 my private config and autoconf.h manually to the workdir.
25 After that I continue with "ebuild kernel compile".

27 Jerry can you send me modified .config and include/linux/autoconf.h
28 version that include a usefull pcmcia-support?
