Only problem is that our current torrent server is lacking in storage |
11 |
space. Infra should be notified before they actually release any |
12 |
tarballs. I surely hope that Stuart doesn't expect to to host those |
13 |
tarballs on the current overlays.g.o machine because that upstream |
14 |
provider is limited on our bandwidth usage. |
15 |
|
16 |
From my point of view, it would have been nice to have at least been |
17 |
asked what infra could do to host these tarballs down the road. That |
18 |
way, we have a sound plan of doing a good release when they're ready. I |
19 |
don't like the idea of them springing a release and then asking us to |
20 |
host it in a week. Things like this need to be planned from an infra |
21 |
point of view, just like releases from releng are. |
22 |
|
23 |
Anyways... |
24 |
|
25 |
Stuart: When you get a chance, can you please either message me on irc |
26 |
or send em an email with your thoughts on how hosting might work so we |
27 |
can start planning that? |
28 |
|
29 |
Thanks- |
