22 #debian have an irc front-end to apt which I thought was quite a nice idea; I was wondering
23 about a similar thing for portage - to check current versions etc? I'm writing an irc client at
24 the moment, once I fix up the socket code I'll have a go at interfacing it to portage once I
25 get time - there are a few things I need to sort out first before I can get back to any
26 opensource projects for the next few days,
