14 The Council approved profile eapi files for use a while ago (can't
15 remember when -- http://council.gentoo.org/ isn't being updated), and
16 they discussed timeframes for using newer EAPIs then too. Did you see
17 that discussion?

19 As far as PMS is concerned, you just need to create a file named 'eapi'
20 containing a single line with '1' in it in each profiles/ directory in
21 which you want to use slot deps.
