Just a minor comment. Maybe pythonhead's metagen can be modified to produce
utf-8 encoded metadata.xml's (it could already for all I know.. I'm clueless
when it comes to file encodings)?
Then maybe we can encourage that to be used much as echangelog is used for
generating ChangeLog entries.
