I agree with you...but I think some development issues are being discussed on |

gentoo-core (for example, the ebuild-maintainer reorganizations mentioned by |

Dan Armak earlier, or the signed portage tree work). Or even if they aren't, |

people have the impression that this happens. |

Which is why I think my suggestion #1 is a good idea--even if all the |

listeners-in ever report is "Nothing of interest to gentoo-dev happened on |

-core this week," I think the knowledge that someone has the job of relaying |

developmental issues (and only such issues, no politics) would be enough to |
16 |
greatly improve community satisfaction. |
