U will find the pac kage info stuff in
/var/db/pkg/sys-kernel
there is also a copy of the ebuild script used to install the package in
these subdirs
if u want to remove old sources you can use

ebuild
/var/db/pkg/sys-kernel/linux-source-2.4.4.5/linux-sources-2.4.4.5.ebuild
unmerge
