Well, as former maintainer of PerlMagick in Gentoo, I can tell you that |

the way we used to do it was to take the tarball that is used to build |

imagemagick and reuse it for building perlmagick, building only the perl |
20 |
portions and ensuring that we were binding against the correct libraries |

on $root. But hey, what do I know, I only maintained it for 2 or 3 |
