I did uncomment the line. The problem is that after emerging, the man |

pages of the newly installed package are not in the database |

("man <new_man_page>" works though, only "apropos" doesn't show it). |

It means either I have to run "makewhatis" myself as root right after |

emerge or I have to wait till cron starts makewhatis.cron somewhere in |

the night. And I think it's a little bit annoying since the info pages |

do get indexed. |
