1 Instead of getting the stage 1 iso, get the tarball. boot into an existing
2 linux, extract the tarball to a directory, start your ppp connection as you
3 normally would and chroot into the directory containing gentoo. now you can
4 just continue with the install like everyone else.

6 oops, make sure that directory that you put gentoo into is an empty partion.
7 it'll be your gentoo root partition when you are finished.
