List Archive: gentoo-dev
Unless someone complains, I would like to bump the following later today:
cyrus-sasl (to version 2.1.17 as ~x86)
There are some big changes for those who use a database backend:
- new support for postgresql
- configuration changes required:
o new additional setting required:
sql_engine (either 'mysql' or 'postgresql')
o the old mysql_statement setting has been renamed to:
sql_select
o all other old mysql_* settings have been renamed to sql_*
o two new settings are available (and should be self explanatory):
sql_insert
sql_delete
Other than that, everything else is still pretty much the same. I've
been running cyrus-imapd-2.2.2_beta, postfix-2.0.16-r1, and cyrus-imsp
for a few weeks without problems.
cyrus-imapd (to version 2.2.2_beta as masked and ~x86)
This is the last beta in the 2.2.x series and according to Ken (the
author) 2.2.3 final is due at the end of January. I'd like to get this
in for people to play with. I've been using it for a while and it seems
pretty solid. Having the ability to rename top-level boxes is well
worth it.
cyrus-imspd (to version 1.7a as stable x86)
This is a security fix and I'll need to write a GLSA (any help with this
is greatly appreciated).
amavisd-new (to version 20030616_p7 as stable x86)
No surprises here, just your standard bugfixes. I added a patch to allow
treating of the user id field from an sql look up as a string (instead
of number). This is more flexible and was approved by the author.
postfix-2.0.16-r1 (bump to stable x86)
It's about time! :-)
Thank you for your time.
