1	When I try to emerge anything from gnome-extra, mc for instance,I get ebuild
2	gnome-extra/mc-4.5.55 not found ( possibly blocked by package.mask).Also I am
3	trying to get alsa working.I think the docs on the Web sight are out of date?. I
4	am using 1.0-rc6-r9 with the 2.4.10 kernel. I have sound compiled into the
5	kernel.
6	I have emerged all the Alsa pkges - drivers,utils and libs.Other than that
7	everything is great with Gentoo.
