14 That has unfortunately stalled progress before. Let's not let it happen
15 this time. It's going to take some time to get the new eselect profile
16 features coded, tested, and thru the system (including deprecating the old
17 version and profiles). We might as well have the benefit of the spit
18 desktop profiles while the ultimate solution's being worked on, especially
19 since this one's pretty much ready to go now (days to weeks, including the
20 mentioned documentation delay, not months or years).
