Some more success for those interested.

With update of patches from minion.de, I can now use both nvidia-kernel
and nvidia-glx 1.0-4349.

Also, I mailed one of the Nvidia developers, and the problem of things
like Quake3, UT, UT2003, XMMS, etc was a problem with dl-reloc.c, which
is fixed in CVS.  I will roll out a glibc-2.3.2-r1 in a bit that have
this fix in, and I already played a bit of UT2003 ;)
