Dear GDP members: |
2 |
|
3 |
Just a little mail to announce that repodoc tool has a new and very |
4 |
improved version kicking the streets, 0.1_beta4. Thanks to the annoncvs |
5 |
access, now it's easier for contributors (non-devs) to use repodoc. |
6 |
|
7 |
For those who doesn't know repodoc, info can be found in the app home |
8 |
page[1]. |
9 |
|
10 |
Some hot features: |
11 |
|
12 |
- New tool in the repodoc package, "docman"[2]. Since repodoc is used |
13 |
to run checks on docs before commit them, docman has been created to |
14 |
make other kind of actions. Currently docman has the following modules: |
15 |
|
16 |
* Bump: automatically bump doc version and/or date. |
17 |
* Get: download xml source doc. |
18 |
* Sync: automatically sync version and/or date tag in translations. |
19 |
* Patch: give a bug number, select the patch and apply it, |
20 |
all-in-one from the command line. |
21 |
|
22 |
- New repodoc module to check links in metadoc. |
23 |
|
24 |
- New frontend system. Optional support for a new gtk based graphical |
25 |
frontend (can be activated via USE flag). |
26 |
|
27 |
- A fully working testsuite and lots of code improvements. |
28 |
|
29 |
For anything you need, such as bugs or suggestions, you can use the |
30 |
repodoc email alias: repodoc@×××××××××.org. |
31 |
|
32 |
Thanks. -The Repodoc Team (tm)- |
