Can anyone with proper commit access and common sense edit the
cvs/gentoo/xml/htdocs/doc/en/handbook/2008.0/index.xml page so that
the draft disclaimer is removed? I'm without access during working
hours or I would've done it myself :-)

Anyway, congratulations to release engineering for the release and
nightmorph & colleagues for the documentation!
