I am trying to strip down the uclibc profile by removing some flags from |

uclibc/hardened/x86/make.defaults, like python, readline |

if I remove the parent file (no cascading), emerge info shows what I set |

but if the parent file is there I get added perl,python,readline |

automatically, although if I follow the inheritance path up to ../base, |

USE is nowhere defined (and USE is not cascadable) |
