[gentoo-embedded] power monitoring on embedded gentoo

With the newest (upower) and some of the legacy power monitoring
and measuring tools (ebuilds), what do embedded folks use on minimal, 
embedded gentoo systems, hopefully robust with a light footprint on 
resource utilization?


Is there something else that works well (non-gui) that is commonly used
on embedded linux systems?
