I figured it was better to start small and go from there.(?) Emerging |

libperl (--nodeps) right now. Let's see how it goes. If it fails i |

check out stage3. Are all stages supposed to be "emerge -e" able, or |

are they sort of forced together using other means? I noticed that |

perl does trigger a dependency on automake, causing a dependency loop. |

How's such loop(s) supposed to be broken out of? |
