Take a look at /usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/serial/ftdi_sio.[ch] - the |

programming interface is well documented there. There's also a |

user-space library for direct communication with the FTDI chips and an |

utility for programming the EEPROM [1], but neither of them support |

the FT232R yet. |
