7 well... actually there are two parallel discussions: the first one is
8 mostly an abstraction (ie pure science) and the second is closely to
9 the reality – something for gentoo embedded.

11 Bob is asking whether something exist in gentoo on its portage. And he
12 is asking if somebody can make an ebuild for rtai + rtnet + anything
13 else. My understanding is that currently embedded is just about to
14 start these subprojects, however, nobody stops Bob to install these
15 apps & path the kernel and to try on gentoo.

18 James and I were mostly focused on theoretical aspects. Well… this is
19 a pure truism that theory must be the same as practice. Well, it
20 should, but it reality we just can operate by the "closely" world.
21 That's mostly a game of theoretical statements and terms, however, I
22 also believe James is right, so i'm still waiting for his comments :)
