well... actually there are two parallel discussions: the first one is |

mostly an abstraction (ie pure science) and the second is closely to |

the reality – something for gentoo embedded. |

Bob is asking whether something exist in gentoo on its portage. And he |

is asking if somebody can make an ebuild for rtai + rtnet + anything |

else. My understanding is that currently embedded is just about to |

start these subprojects, however, nobody stops Bob to install these |

apps & path the kernel and to try on gentoo. |

James and I were mostly focused on theoretical aspects. Well… this is |

a pure truism that theory must be the same as practice. Well, it |

should, but it reality we just can operate by the "closely" world. |

That's mostly a game of theoretical statements and terms, however, I |

also believe James is right, so i'm still waiting for his comments :) |
