I skimmed over your suggestions and found they have slightly different |

feature wise but not so well laid out if you think about |

maintainablility and extensions. It wrapps all and everything in one |

Makefile which seems to be rather unflexible (that reads: I had problems |

to update some outdated stuff). Besides, I'd rather prefer to use a |

consistent set of tools to build specifically tailored Applications. The |

general flexibility of the gentoo (meta)distribution looks very |
12 |
promising in that regard. I have seen an embedded profile in |
13 |
/usr/portage/profiles and will start to play with that. |
