3 Thanks for the help. I have ended up backtracking the steps in the
4 Gentoo NSLU2 hardware wiki and I think it was down to not doing
5 'turnup init' at the beginning.

7 Having redone the steps (including the turnup init), I am past the
8 chroot step and now running 'emerge sync'.

10 PS I have also updated the wiki with some extra guidelines.
