GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
In about 3 hours im going to attempt an install with
/usr/portage/profiles/embedded/uclibc-x86-1.4/ as my make.profile
should I expect this to go over well on a x86 box?
Is there a preferd method on getting a system up then switching profiles
or can I run with it from the get go?
I will followup with results...
