Hi,

I am quite new to gnustep and etoile altogether . I am running an amd64
system and unmasked all gnustep and etoile dependencies.

My main problem is when i open an app using the openapp command, the
dock will show up, but the menu wont show.
Clicking on the dock shows nothing, double clicking quickly shows the
menu at the top of my screen, but fades out right away.

I should mention that running any application worked prior to installing
etoile. Upon opening ProjectCenter, i have this in my terminal:

mark@uberhost ~ $ openapp ProjectCenter
2008-03-08 13:58:42.258 ProjectCenter[11332] Unknown time zone name `PST'.
2008-03-08 13:58:42.258 ProjectCenter[11332] Using time zone with
absolute offset 0.
2008-03-08 13:58:42.257 ProjectCenter[11332] Loading 3 user defined

'/usr/GNUstep/System/Library/Bundles/EtoileMenus.bundle'

MenuServer application proxy
2008-03-08 13:58:42.333 ProjectCenter[11332] WARNING: Failed to retrieve
MenuServer application proxy

and trying to kill it with ctr+c i get additionally:

^C2008-03-08 14:03:34.148 ProjectCenter[11332] File NSView.m: 473. In
[GSBackendWindowDecorationView -initWithFrame:] given negative height
2008-03-08 14:03:34.149 ProjectCenter[11332] File NSView.m: 473. In
[NSView -initWithFrame:] given negative height
2008-03-08 14:03:34.149 ProjectCenter[11332] File NSView.m: 1065. In
[NSView -setFrame:] given negative height

[GSBackendWindowDecorationView -setFrame:] given negative height

it doesnt actually close projectcenter, so i have to kill the terminal
to get back to my desktop.
This is all using etoile 0.2 and all unmasked packages in the amd64 tree.

Is there any more info you need? or should i just wait for a future
release as gnustep is still hardmasked on amd64.

Thanks for you help
