Some changes:
To not mix the portato subversion with the new backend, I created a new
project on origo [1] and copied the wiki pages there.
The project is named "Catapult" until we find a better name ;)

(@dol-sen: I also copied your forum post and added you as a project
member :))

I created a small showcase (a server and a client). The details can be
found in [2] - I don't want to copy them :). Inspired by dol-sen I'll
write some tests to see, if dbus is slower than the normal import.
