The PaX, GentooHardened, and Adamantix projects are pleased to announce |
2 |
the formation of a cooperative development alliance forged to facilitate |
3 |
delivery of freely available software to linux using PaX in the |
4 |
framework. |
5 |
|
6 |
Under this new alliance, the projects will share information and |
7 |
coordinate efforts for porting software to take advantage of PaX's |
8 |
Address Space Layout Randomizations. Members of the alliance will share |
9 |
information using a neutral ground WiKi at |
10 |
http://www.plus-linux.de/wiki.cgi?PaXAlliance which will provide a home |
11 |
for this cooperative effort. |
12 |
|
13 |
While each project will continue to deliver software in their own way, |
14 |
the coordination between projects will: |
15 |
* Accelerate the development efforts of all projects |
16 |
* Avoid unwanted duplication of effort |
17 |
* Improve the consistency, quality, and responsiveness of ports |
18 |
