10 Looks like something is broken because all of the following hardened
11 profiles inherit from hardened/linux which has USE="-unicode" in
12 make.defaults. They all exhibit the same behavior, namely they enable
13 unicode by default although they should not.

21 I'll talk to the dev that made the change and see if we can get to the
22 bottom of why his change didn't work. I don't want to start reverting
