Subject: [gentoo-hppa] Newbie problems booting gentoo on HP9000 819 K200
Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2006 22:00:05
Message-Id: 20060420215942.GD7377@blzj.com
1 Greetings,
2
3 I recently acquired a HP9000 819 K200 server, and I am trying to get
4 gentoo loaded on it. The system does boot HP-UX off the original drives
5 so I know the system is in working order. When I try to boot gentoo,
6 the system seems to go into an infinite loop after it detects the
7 second MUX card. I have attached the log file of the boot process.
8
9 I did try to boot debian too, and that actually panics the
10 system. If it would be helpful, I can capture that boot process as well.
