I've been attempting to get a 3ware 8506 64bit PCI card to work in a B2000, |
2 |
running Gentoo 2006.something, under kernel 2.6.19.1-pa0. I've been unable to |
3 |
do so to date. The machine kernel panics when the 3ware 8000/9000 series |
4 |
driver is compiled in to the kernel, or loaded as a module. Below is a crash |
5 |
dump from the machines latest boot attempt. The backtrace is the same in both |
6 |
a 64bit slot and a 32bit slot. The backtrace is also the same when the driver |
7 |
is compiled directly into the kernel. |

|
56 |
I realize that this information might not be of much use, so please let me |
57 |
know what I need to provide to help with this. If needed, I can provide |
58 |
access to the machine so developers can poke around with things. |
59 |
|
60 |
Thank you for your time, |
