I wanna start developing an ebuild for an application called |

Geoserver ( http://geoserver.org/ ) and need some indications. |

I did ebuild for non java application, but really don't know how |

handle this one. |

For example got 2 things to understand: |

1- Which version should i use to install the package from http:// |

docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Latest ? |
| 12 |

| 13 |
2- This application uses a Web Server and a Java container..is it ok |
| 14 |
to set Tomcat as a dependencies? |
| 15 |
|
| 16 |
I am reading the java guide linked in irc channel's topic.. |
