Has anyone successfully gotten webapp and/or container logging with log4j |

set up with tomcat-6.10-r1? My most pressing problem is getting webapp |

logging via log4j working and dumping logfiles in /var/log/tomcat-6. For |

some reason the exact same setup and configuration files/parameters that |

worked for me in tomcat-5.5 and earlier versions (log4.jar in the |

WEB-INF/lib directory and log4j.properties in the WEB-INF/classes directory) |

does not create custom webapp logfiles in the logs directory. I've gone |
