I've just removed all the digest-* files from java-overlay and |

java-experimental. From now on we are using just digests stored in the |

Manifest file. For overlay committers, make sure you do the following so |

that you won't generate and commit new digest-* files: |

* have portage at least 2.1.2.2 (that's stable) |
| 12 |
* svn up whole overlay before you first commit something, so you fetch |
| 13 |
the manifest1_obsolete file in root of overlay that will tell |
| 14 |
ebuild/repoman not to generate digest files anymore, and get rid of the |
| 15 |
digest-* files |
| 16 |
* remove any digest files in your locally changed packages that are not |
| 17 |
yet commited, before you commit them |
| 18 |

| 19 |
If you're just an overlay consumer, make sure you have at least portage |
| 20 |
2.1 so the overlay will work for you. |
