gentoo installs the src.zip into the sub-folder "share". |

Actually, there's just one drawback, that i can think of: |

Eclipse (and maybe other programs) don't find the src.zip automatically. |

Eclipse usually does it on other systems, but it really doesn't expect |

it to be in the share-subfolder. |

Of course, there is no specification of a good directory-layout for a |

JDK, but this share/src.zip-thing looks quite unusual to me. |
