Hey folks, |
2 |
|
3 |
Just a public service announcement, but you generally shouldn't try |
4 |
using packages marked -* (ie by adding dev-java/foo -* to |
5 |
/etc/portage/package.keywords). Packages marked this way are likely to |
6 |
not build, not run, and kick your dog. For example, I'm working on a |
7 |
revision of Eclipse, 3.2_rc6-r1 which uses some patches from Fedora, and |
8 |
haven't quite worked it all out, so it dies about 10 minutes into the |
9 |
build.... So to summarize, be _very_ careful what you use that's marked -*. |
