This one is already fixed, see:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141940

Do:

# emerge --sync
# emerge -avC jaxme

and proceed as usual. Alternatively add the third step:

# emerge -av1 jaxme

Good luck and search the Bugzilla more often ;)
