Release notes
-------------
WARNING: Since MTRR is now disabled by default, the framebuffer
might become noticeably slower. In order to avoid that, the use
of MTRR has to be explictly enabled on the kernel command line.
The behaviour of previous versions of vesafb(-tng) is equivalent
to specifying:
video=vesafb:mtrr:3,<other_options_here>
