4 Indeed. splash_util listens for input events, but splash_helper does
5 not. The only reason that splash_helper appears to respond to Alt+F1 is
6 that that particular keypress is handled by the kernel as "change to

8 (which is where splash_helper draws its pretty graphics), you'd be away.

25 Probably needs some extra testing with baselayout-1.x. This release was
26 primarily for the baselayout-2 splash plugin, which does work fine on
27 baselayout-2 (entering portage soon).
