- Made the backend and frontend separate modules.
- Cleaned the code up so that it adheres to the kernel CodingStyle.
- Updated the documentation.
- Added support for blanking the screen.
- Added support for the fb_setcmap() function.
- Reorganized and partially rewritten palette setting code.
