Centrino does work but in a strange way
I use cpufreqd daemon and speedsteing works well in automatic mode as
well as in manual frequency changing. There is something wrong with
kernel modules itself that if I modprobe it even those not related with
speedsteppnig ie. freq_table it starts to give a hardly hearable high
frequency sound and slows system around 30-40 % down. Frequency remains
unchanged.

I had D510 and it uses Intel 855 GME chipset, D410 has Intel 915. But in
both situations you have to install either unstable 6.8.99 or modula
7.0. I use 6.8.99 and spent weeks on getting it to work (almost
succeded)  but I got tired and don't have 3d mode
