We'd like to apologize for the burst of extra traffic in /distfiles. |

The master distfiles box unexpected rebooted, and did not mount the |

distfiles LV on reboot; worse, rsync continued to serve with the |
| 7 |
directory being empty, and that caused many mirrors to delete their |
| 8 |
/distfiles content. |

Admins: Are your mirrors running the --max-delete option in their sync |
| 11 |
cronjobs for the distfiles & releases? If you're not, would you consider |
| 12 |
it? |
