Same here in Austria. I was able to get 20mbit for a short period time in 
the weekend, but it averages around 100-500kbit/sec. Not an internet2 
problem per se, but something that should be checked by your NOC people.

I interviewed the Inode backbone staff, there is no shaping in place on our 
side and Sprint reports no problem.

If you can't find the problem you should really think about designating a 
distfile master in europe, the current situation is a bit suboptimal.
