host masterdistfiles.gentoo.org
masterdistfiles.gentoo.org is an alias for rsync.osuosl.org.
rsync.osuosl.org is an alias for rsync-i2.osuosl.org.
rsync-i2.osuosl.org has address 140.211.166.134

That's the one that works fine according to you.

There's everything that should be.

I don't know if it is important, but my rsync jobs are running from root 
account.
