Hi folks,

This is sounding the waters for some releng plans.

First of all, /experimental/beta/. This would be a beta release of every
arch, some time before the final release was made. Presently estimated
about the same size as a release (2006.1 was 11.8Gb, 2007.0 was 10.3Gb,
2008.0 is estimated around the same 10Gb mark).
You'd be welcome to exclude it if you didn't want it on your mirror.
Yay/Nay?

Second is a bit of a pie-in-the-sky thing, but it's going to be a DVD
image and a bunch of related tarballs. Also under /experimental
somewhere, for another ~4.5Gb.

On sizes for /releases, /releases is going to be shrinking another 3Gb
or so, as the last arches lose their 2006.0 stuff when 2008.0 is close
at hand.
